ABOUT THE OWNERS

Aesthetic Appeal is a woman owned & operated minority family business based in Washington, DC. Shortly after being sworn in as an attorney, the pandemic brought about confusion & chaos. Life was no longer going according to how Shaunyta planned it. In search of balance and peace, she found a new artistic outlet. As a certified yoga instructor, she combined her knowledge in chakra healing and meditation and taught herself how to make jewelry. With confidence in her designs and faith in the new path God paved for her, Shaunyta gave birth to her soul baby, Aesthetic Appeal. Not too long afterwards, she joined forces with her mother, Rolanda, who elevated Aesthetic Appeal with her unknown, yet remarkable, talent. Their mission is to create healing for others through the energetic creations of Mother Earth.

Each piece is handmade by Shaunyta or Rolanda. They pour love, positive intention and attention to detail in each piece they create. Their artistic expression seeks to preserve the natural beauty of each gemstones by working with them in its raw natural state. All of their gemstones are ethically sourced globally.

Wow, God is nothing short of amazing. After law school I started @aestheticappealjewelry seeking a creative outlet. I would’ve never imagined I’d be leaving my law firm job & pursuing this venture full time a year later.
